By accessing or using Kite (the website, app, or related services), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use Kite.

Not medical advice

Kite is a patient health information organiser — educational and administrative support only, not a medical device or diagnostic service. Kite helps you capture, organise, and share health information you or your clinicians already provided. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or emergency services.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. In an emergency, call 000 (Australia) or your local emergency number immediately. Do not rely on Kite for urgent or life-threatening situations.

Educational purpose

Visit summaries, guidelines, and other content generated by Kite are intended to help you understand and remember your health story. They may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for verifying important information with your healthcare providers.

User responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information
• Obtain appropriate consent before recording medical appointments
• Use Kite only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable health recording laws
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the service
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent where required

Recording and consent

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to record conversations in your jurisdiction and clinical setting. Kite provides consent tools, but compliance with local laws and clinic policies is your responsibility.

Intellectual property

Kite and its content, branding, and technology are owned by us or our licensors. Your health data remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kite is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any health outcomes, decisions made based on Kite content, data loss, or indirect damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email where practicable.
