FAQ

Common questions

Everything you need to know about Kite — agentic sidekicks.

What is Kite?

Kite provides agentic sidekicks designed to help patients and families plan, track, and collaborate on care. It captures appointments with consent, tracks your health record on a visual journey, and helps you plan what comes next — built for patients and carers, not clinics.

Is Kite a diagnosis tool?

No. Kite is an educational tool that helps you remember, organise, and understand your health story. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or replace conversations with your doctor or other healthcare providers. Always seek professional medical advice for health decisions.

Who is Kite for?

Kite is designed for patients, carers, and families managing health — especially those with chronic conditions, complex care paths, or anyone who has ever left an appointment unsure what was said. Clinicians may find it useful to understand the patient side, but Kite is built for the person in the room.

How does Kite handle privacy?

Your data belongs to you. Kite is designed privacy-first with Australian privacy principles in mind. We collect only what's needed to provide the service, and you control your recordings and health record. See our Privacy Policy for full details, or contact jfaus.ventures@gmail.com.

How is Kite different from doctor scribes?

Clinician ambient scribes (like those used in practices) reduce documentation burden for doctors — they write clinical notes for the medical record. Kite is the patient-owned equivalent: plain-language visit summaries, a personal health journey, and care support that compounds over your lifetime. Different user, different outcome.

What about pricing and access?

Kite is currently in early access. Request access to use the platform. Pricing will be announced before general availability — we're committed to making health management accessible for patients and families.
